Dr. Valderrama is a graduate of the highly prestigious Sophie Davis Medical College at the City College of New York. She completed her medical school training at Stony Brook University before spending four years in residency training, including a year as Chief Resident in OB/GYN at NYU - Long Island (then Winthrop University).
She has spent the last 40 years in private practice, initially as the senior partner with Long Island Women's Care (Mineola, NY). And, the last three years as a member of A New Life OB/GYN of Broward. She is a Board Certified member of the American College Of Obstetricians & Gynecologists. In her career, Dr. Valderrama has been honored as the OB/GYN Attending of the Year (NYU Winthrop University Hospital), named the Top Obstetrician/Gynecologist Long Island (International Association of Obstetricians & Gynecologists), selected by US News & World Report as one of the Best Doctors in America and awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by

A New Life OB/GYN of Broward, LLC is part of Florida Woman Care, LLC and accepts most major insurance plans: HMO, PPO, POS, EPO, Medicare and Tricare, including Covered Florida Exchange plans (Obamacare). Unfortunately, we do not accept Blue Select, Preferred Care Options (Medicare Replacement Plan), Medica, and Careplus Health Plan (Medicare Replacement Plan).
